It's been quite a while since I last posted a new entry. I guess I've been preoccupied and lazy. October was a pretty eventful month plus it's one of my favorite months. I love how the weather starts changing, but not so much this year since Mother Nature had been bipolar. I love Haloween and soon after that's over the big holidays are just around the corner.
During the summer I purchased tix to see Interpol at the Greek. I had an awesome time and got to meet up with my brother Raymond and his girlfriend Cindy. We had drinks at the Big Foot Lodge before the show. Good times indeed minus our seats. Yuk!
I started Xmas shopping mid October and I'm just about halfway done. I love ordering online and the rest I can pick up at the mall. My list is a lot smaller this year plus I'm not spending what I use to spend. I've learned that less is more especially now that times are tough.
I didn't dress up for Halloween this year, nor give out candies or attend any of the parties I was invited to. Instead I went to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery Dia de los Muertos event that I go to every year. I took so many photo's and had a blast. This year I got there right before doors opened and left around 7:30pm and ready for bed.

The next day I had planned to take my little bundle of joy to the Howl'oween Parade in Long Beach. He hates to wear anything but since there was so much going on he didn't have time to rub himself on anything.
He wore his pumpkin shirt and bat wings with eyes around his collar. He had a bow on since he had just come back from the groomers.
The parade was a blast and I love to see so many people in the Halloween spirit! And here is costume #2, skunk boy. Can you tell he hates it?!
By the time we were done with the parade I was ready to call it a day. But we had to eat so we stopped at a pub in Long Beach and after toasting to another great Halloween it was finally time to get some rest. I was too tired to see the kids in their costumes so instead I vegged.
And now let the holidays begin! *ugh*
