I had another mellow weekend. I ended up watching most if the first season of Deadwood, read a little, and went through several more old mags looking for keepsake recipes to add to my binder. I wasn't in much of a cooking mood but once I go over the recipes I get inspired and rock out in the kitchen. I carry my grocery list everywhere I go with my fav Sharpie just in case.
I have a new neighbor, she's about 20 years old and she has an almost 1 year old baby. Let's call her Lady Madonna. Ever since LM moved in (temporary) it hasn't been the same. She's very immature and loud plus the baby crying at all hours makes it worse. I hope shes finds a new place soon. *fingers crossed* LM stomps around, holds the baby like a football, and doesn't know how to use her inside voice. Is there a baby daddy in the picture? c'mon, of course not! What a shame... Hope LM moves out soon. I can't take the noise and miss the peacefulness I once had.
Roxy continues to hang out on the window to spy on the cats, neighbors, and birds. He can sit and stare for hours. I wonder what he's thinking? Once he remembers he needs a nap he'll sit right next to me and crash out. Once he's up, it's time to play even with bedhead!
I called mom last night. She's visiting family and on a well needed break. She seems to be happy and doing well. I'm glad she is away from her tidious routine. We all need a break and some time off plus different scenery is a plus. I hope the break does her well even if I do miss seeing her. But this is not about me, it's about mom relaxing.
I've been wanting to try beginners yoga for weight loss. I think I'm going to order it...wish me luck.
